Mudakathan keerai is a type of Mooligai which is used in Tamil maruthuvam and siddha vaithiyam.  mudakathan powder is prepared and it is given to patients those who have joint pain problem. The benefits of mudakathan keerai are more and we can add this in our daily diat. I have given some easy recipes for you.

Mudakathan Keerai Botanical Name: Cardiospermum halicababum
mudakathan Keerai English Name: Indravalli, it is derived from Sanskrit Name
Mudakathan Keerai Health Benefits: Mudakathan Keerai is a clipber plant. The plant can not stay erect it need support from other plant to grow up.

Mudakathan Keerai Uses and Recipe Prepration
Mudakathan Keerai kashayam for Joint Pain: take a hand full of Mudakathan leaves, wash it three or four times. Add 2 cups of water, 1tsp cumin seeds and a pinch of asafetida. Let it to boil for some time. if the water reduces half of the amount remove from heat and add a pinch of pepper powder. Drink warm on every morning (freshly Prepared). This is the best mooligai treatment for joint pain.    

Mudakathan Keerai Rasam for Joint Pain: one of the best and easy Mudakathan keerai recipe is Mudakathan Rasam. Take a hand full of fresh and green Mudakathan leaf wash it and put in half lit tamarind juice. Let it to boil for 15 minutes then add powdered pepper, garlic, jeera (cumin seeds), asafetida, curry leaves and 1 red dry chilli   ( dry fry and grind nicely).

You can also add chopped leaves with idli or Dodai mix and prepare Mudakathan keerai Dosai.
Add some Dal and prepare Mudakathan keerai kuzhambu like usual Tamil sambar style.
